This is a small city-owned lake with good fishing for crapie, bass, and catfish. There is a nice boat ramp and a fishing barge with picnic area on the east side of the lake, about one mile off of the state highway. Low daily user feel. Bass in the AM along rocky dam. Not too many ski boats. I love this lake for kayak fishing.
